Escaped the city for the island this weekend. Nice to be at the bach again though the lush green growth everywhere needs gardening and pruning attention. The cinerarias are starting to bloom and by Labour Weekend they will be a riot of colour. The peach tree is in blossom and the jasmine rankles its heady way through shrubby growth both sides of the garden . It is something fragrant I can still smell.
I hadn't noticed these cabbage trees before not far from our front gate on the way to the beach.
