Autumn

The guava season is in full swing and I have made one batch of jelly with the first ones to leave the tree. The rest will go to Giapo in return for his wonderful icecream.

Orewa Beach 

Shells left by the tide on Orewa beach one glorious Sunday morning recently. It is just a five minute walk to the Farmers Market to pick up some walnut bread for lunch and some fruity French pastries for morning tea.  From there to the library which like quite a few Auckland libraries is open Sundays.

This is Sentinel Rd beach in Herne Bay where we have swum and picnicked the  last two days as the high tide has been late morning.  There is a steep flight of over 100 steps which adds to the exercise.
