Spring Clean

I have parts of two rooms looking tidy again after many months of not.  Dusted the windowseat and re organized my stash of woven and knitted bits and pieces waiting for an upcycling moment. For a start I have turned an already recycled Kaffe Fassett-design knitted vest (was a jumper) into a cushion and am pleased with the result.  A stripy cardigan is waiting for a similar transformation.  

Found further energy on the home front and made some delicious strawberry and rhubarb jam, using a couple of chips of rather firm strawberries, not really soft enough for eating au naturelle  and the same amount of rhubarb from the garden.
